This project was for the remodel and expansion of a WWII vintage airplane hanger at the Astoria Airport. An existing warehouse office area was completely remodeled and an elevator and mezzanine was added above, for additional office and conference space. In addition, more warehouse space was added to expand LEKTRO’s airplane tug manufacturing operation.
The addition to the existing facility consisted of a pre-engineered metal building, with metal building insulation system and a standing seam roof. The addition was separated from the existing warehouse by a tilt-up concrete separation fire wall. The project was administered through the Port of Astoria.
